Languages are some of human being's greatest creations. These sophisticated systems of communications that were developed over thousands of years in thousands of different communities around the world are a testament to the ability of the Homo sapiens' brain. So why, with all of our linguistic prowess and vocabulary variety, do we have to use words far more than they were intended?

Sure, you’ve seen plenty of classic movies, but they can be difficult to distinguish from one another, just like their leading men. They’re all in black and white, have similar dramatic music and their leading men seem to either wear suits with styled hair or a holsters with cowboy hats.

The new Star Trek trailer just hit the Internet, and it's pretty clear director J.J. Abrams is boldly going where no one has gone before with this highly anticipated franchise reboot.

Featuring a storyline that shows Kirk and Spock from kids to final frontiersmen, this looks like it could be the one that Trekkies (or is it Trekkers?) have been waiting for since The Wrath of Khan.
