Windows Mobile may be getting lost in the mix with the continuing rise of the iPhone and the recent launch of Google Android, but the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 could seriously change things for Microsoft's mobile platform.

David Ciccone of Mobility Today was lucky enough to get his hands on a brand new Sony Xperia X1 smartphone, unboxing the glorious handset in the video below. The box itself does not appear to be all that exciting, but David does provide us with a size comparison, placing the Xperia X1 against the AT&T Fuze and a Sprint's HTC Touch Pro.
